University Books and Notes in Braille
This page contains academic books or course notes in Braille and Nemeth
code for the visually impaired and the software
latex2nemeth for converting
LaTeX files directly to Braille/Nemeth. The occasion was the recent
introduction of visually
impaired students in scientific desciplines in the Greek [State]
Universities.
Conversions are made from the original TeX/LaTeX file directly to
Braille/Nemeth with the help of
latex2nemeth
developed specifically to
meet this need. The software and conversions is a collaboration of the
Mathematics Department professors Andreas
Papasalouros and Antonis
Tsolomitis.

latex2nemeth now fully supports polytonic Greek. As a sample we give Homer's Odyssey (in Greek) and the Orphic Hymns.
